feels so long since i've added anything to my collection but here we are. just a few little things today from buyee, which i had to ship as they ran out of free storage time lol. first of 2 items is "SIMON RESPECT SPECIAL" by silly walker! bought this one as i do enjoy silly walker stuff and its another dvd case release, of which i need many many more of, i love them alot. this release is a quite a bit weaker than "uchu-jin re酢pect 酢pecial 2" which is the other silly walker dvd case release i own, really love that album. simon respect special does just feel like another SW comp, while it's an enjoyable listen, theres nothing to write home about in a big way. i am particulary fond of the 2 ending tracks, maybe because i've been on a bit of an ost rush the past month or 2, super chill atmosphere in these tracks. the chocolate-box and DJ Nomiss tracks are also pretty good.
i really need to create a nice space to take photos of my collection at some point, but for now enjoy this cool & create towel as my backdrop lol.
my 2nd purchase was a little bit of a random one, but i saw the cover art for this loopcube album and was drawn in a little. for 800 yen i thought "fuck it" and decided to buy it. after listening i can safetly say this release is probably worth the 800 yen, but only the first track grabbed me. loopcube is a pretty undocumented label from what i can tell and there are only a few rips that are available online, but from whats available it's all pretty good stuff. the first track on this album is a pretty spacey but serious track, good energy and great singing from のみこ. the other 2 tracks are a little more upbeat but just don't hit the same, still cool stuff tho. it also has a little video on it with footage from a live performance which is always awesome to include, and it also comes with a PSP optimised version of the video, which i thought was pretty cool.
getting a grail in the mail soon thanks to uznare so thats something to look forward to in the near future.

got a few things for my collection today. i am super happy to have found a copy of beauty:burst's "THE ROAD WARRIORS" for super cheap on yahoo auctions (only 3400 yen!!) as the beauty:burst albums rarely show up for anything near a reasonable price, i am content that this will be my only beauty:burst release in my collection for quite a while. the road warriors is up there in terms of tracks to me in the beauty:beast library, especially when expanded to the 16 track version, with the DJ 92 and warst tracks standing out particularly to me as my favs.
"10th impact" is really a grail album for me, more so for the art than anything else, but it doesn't seem as though i'll be able to find an affordable copy of that anytime soon.
i was also able to grab a press copy of P2P, for not an amazing price but less than what i would've paid on mercari ig. i really love the aesthetics of this album and everything that sharpnel did with it, the beads and poles in the cd-r version and the cool bag art for the press copy. i also love the aesthetic of the work itself with all of the interesting bridges and vibe of the tracks in general. it feels more of a honed concept than a lot of the other sharpnel albums, which are just compilations of tracks (all great don't get me wrong.) luckily my copy came with the cardboard bag artwork, but without the bag to hold it all together, so i am storing it in a sleeve wrapper with the cardboard part led on top.
i also grabbed a copy of ace of aces by chiyoda dj union (which i kept lol). aswell as some of the speed freaks sharpnelsound mixes, but i pretty quickly sold them on as they didn't come with the obi bands, and to raise some cash lol.
